Artichoke Vert Globe – Seeds

Artichoke Vert Globe, also known simply as Globe Artichoke, is a Mediterranean perennial vegetable that produces large, round flower buds with thick, fleshy bases. The unopened buds are harvested and cooked as a delicacy, while the silvery foliage adds an ornamental touch to the garden.

This variety is especially valued for its tender hearts and excellent flavor. In Pakistan, it performs best in cooler climates or during the mild winter season. Plants can be grown in deep garden beds or large pots (minimum 18–20 inches) with fertile, well-drained soil. Once established, a single plant can continue producing for several years.
